Biodynamic agricolture

The harvest of biodynamic kiwi begins in November.

It occurs when the fruit is a sugar level equal to 7 degrees Brix on the plant,
a necessary condition to have a minimum Brix degree of 13 at the time of distribution.

Once harvested, the Kiwi is stored in controlled atmosphere cells,
then it is conditioned and marketed in packaging in the formats requested by the customer.

The term “Biodynamics” has two roots: “Bio” means that you act respecting the laws of life,
“Dynamics” emphasizes the “forces” or principles that act in and on substances.

The biodynamic agriculture of Demetrio Parlapiano is totally natural, the fertility of
the soil is obtained without using chemical agents. Demetrio Parlapiano embraced the principles of biodynamic agriculture of Rudolf Steiner in 1924, founder of the Science of the Spirit, and has consolidated them in decades of experimentation.

Biodynamic agriculture is considered a living organism, where plant production is integrated
with animal breeding that provides the right fertilizer for crops. It also consider astronomical and lunar cycles in the work schedule.

The land is treated by a huge “dynamized” laboratory based on natural processes,
to increase its vitality and its defenses. Plants, soil and animals are part of a single system,
in a cycle where everything is reborn. Plants, animals and the farmer contributes to fertilize,
nourish and maintain the whole eco-system in good health.
For years biodynamic farming has given fertility to the land, quality to food, health to humans and animals.
